Let you know in advance that I have been known to ask silly questions...

"But the teacher said there were no silly questions..."

Over here in California and hoping I never have to deal with Tech Support! It seems getting the XPS, you get to talk to Level 2 support people that can actually talk english...

    nice to meet ya

    Opps the question is:

Do you think Dell will put a Nvidia 512 into the E1705?

Or is there a way that if one purchases the 7900 gs now that it can be upgraded later?

    thx

    nvidia 512 = 7900gtx (512mb)

if you check out the other notebook forum
www.notebookforum.com (search through the dell section)

and you can see some people have had success putting a 7900gtx into their e1705

buying a 7900gtx is pricey($1000 straight from dell, you can try ebay, i think they go for around $600 there), and i've read that the 7900gtx's are on back order so they don't have a lot of them right now

I just want a 7900GS right now, 7900 GTX is too much power and expensive it's for any1 who are expert gamers.
