Hey all,
I am pretty sure that this isnt only Dell, but I am kinda confused with the warrenty. Like I bought 3 yrs warrenty on my 1150, but the battery covers only 1 yr. So I guess my question is, what other part(s) doesnt cover on any extendsion warrenty?
Thank you.

Hopefully you still have the warranty paperwork, which should explain exactly what is and isn't covered. If you don't have it, contact Dell and request a copy.

I believe that the rest of the notebook is covered under warranty...obviously the battery is a 'wear' item which is consumable and Dell will not warranty it. The Dell warranty does not cover accidental damages unless you get the ADP or Complete Care warranty.

Ah ok, thank you, vespoli. Dont worry, I am taking care of my notebook, besides my warrenty ends this yr. ITS ALMOST ABOUT TIME TO GET A NEW NOTEBOOK, hehe.

Guess I should have read the fine print too but then I ordered over the phone and have not seen any warranty contract.
Warranty Confusion.
