I purchased my Adamo in the U.S. and so the warranty is basically registered to there.
But I am off to a long 3 month vacation in someplace at Asia and I was wondering if I can get my laptop fixed there. Basically my question is about the technicality. I do not want to permanently change the country of warranty.
Please let me know what you know. Thanks.

I have an L502X (XPS) and they said I have international support and it wouldn't cost me anything extra. (While NBD is on.) I'd totally check out under "Warranty Information" at Welcome to Dell Technical Support with your service tag in to check out if, "International Support" is in there.

I have an XPS 1330, bought in Australia, that had a warranty fix in Scotland. Dell can be informed if you are travelling, though it is not entirely necessary - we didn't.
