I called Dell today about my charger being rejected by my laptop. They tried to fix it, didn't work. So they said they are sending internal parts and a new charger to a representative who will have to do a home visit.
I'm new to calling in on warranties, so my question is: Is this all this going to be covered under my warranty? I completely forgot to ask if there was going to be any cost. Also, is it strange that they are sending someone to my home?

They would have told you if it would have costed you anything. Most if not all dell warrentys come with "in home service after remote diagnostic" which is if they can't fix it remotely, they will send a replacement part to a tech (local person working out of their home) and then the tech will call you to set up an appointment for when they can come to your house, they will fix the laptop and be on their way.

That is what your Complete Care warranty covers. And, also if you cannot be at home for the Repair, they can also arrange to come to your place of employment to do the repair!
That is another nice option!
