I am currently trying to decide between Safeware laptop insurance or Dell Insurance. And yes, I've made many search attempts at finding information on warranty. I was stupid enough not to buy Complete Care warranty when I bought that laptop but nevertheless, I'd like to buy one now. The good thing about Safeware Laptop Insurance company is that it's legit, cheaper, and it covers accident AND theft coverage. I tried to extend my warranty through Dell and they quoted me $320 for the Complete Care. For Safeware it is $80 without deductable for coverage up to $1400 up to a year. The only thing that keeps me from buying Safeware is that it's not Dell themselves fixing the computers in case I ever drop the laptop. Does anyone know a way I can get a lower quote on the Dell CompleteCare opposed to buying the Safeware insurance which I think is the best way to go? Or does anyone have experience with Safeware? Any suggestions would greatly help! Thanks guys :D !

As long as your warranty is still good, you can upgrade to CC. Believe me, IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

I used it for my M170 that had an accident and was upgraded to an M1710 :)
