    I wanted to know if I can add extended warranty to my vostro anytime withing my first year of purchase?

    I usually get letters about 10 months after purchase that my warranty is about to expire and they can add the extended one on at a good rate

    I would guess it will never be more expensive but you may get a good deal by holding out and bargaining. By next year you could argue that for the price of the warranty you could almost get a new better laptop, what cna they offer you that's a better value.
