hey all
my original 1420 came with a 3 year NBD-onsite warrany... i then got a replacement machine which was worse than the original so I sent it back. However, when checking my warranty status, i have NO warranty for my original machine, and the 3 year warranty is now on the replacement WHICH I SENT back! OHhhhhhhh boy.... what to do?

You call and let them know. Its simple to switch.

Shouldn't be an issue if you call. You paid for it, so they can't just take it away.

lol, in my case it was the reverse. The original still had the warranty and that was the one that went back, while replacement had no warranty whatsoever. I called in and Dell fixed it... although it did take some time and effort.
