    Warrenty Question

    i ahve been offered a M1730 but it does not come with any warrenty, would it be possible to buy the laptop and then buy warrenty from dell to cover it?

    I highly doubt it. Is it still under manufacturers warranty? You may be able to if Dell has some sort of refurbishing program (like Apple's iPod).

    I think you have to buy the extended warranty while its still covered with the original warranty. Does it have any sort of warranty left?

    well apprently he has had it for 4 and a half weeks.

    so whatcha think? 4 1/2 weeks it should have warrenty shouldnt it?

    You'd think it would. Is it possible to check with Dell? They usually have records based on the machines serial number to see if its under warranty or not. Get proof of purchase from the seller in any case.
