My battery is still quite loose,

I was wondering if any of you fixed the problem? or if Dell sent you a new batt that maybe fit more snuggly?

Just put 1 or 2 strips of electrical tape on the top of the battery and slide it back in. it will be snug as can be.

There is no rattle on mine. Tight as a lock. Do you have the extended battery? Mine is the lowest cell available and flush. Ordered shortly after BF and shipped in early December.

I disagree. analogy: you bought a new MBZ, the door is not flush and rattles. Put some electrical tape on the jamb and that will stop the rattling. Ralph Nader would hump on this scenario.

I will probably end up doing that but I was wondering if maybe Dell fixed their manufacturing process and if I purchased a new battery it'd be a proper side and stop rattling.
