    Hey guys,

    My apartment got flooded and my laptop was on the floor during all of this. The complete accident coverage applies to this type of water damage correct? Im in law school right now and not having a computer is nearly life threatening. Does anyone know how long it takes for dell to replace the computer or fix it? Im sooo stressed right now.

    I believe that accidental coverage covers everything - but of course, you need to reclaim your data. There are professionals who can service water-logged hard drives, for a price.

    If it doesn't, I would check your renters insurance. Somehow, you should be covered.

    Yeah check with your renters insurance as they would cover it maybe not the whole price but some of it

    Hopefully you have renter insurance because I am pretty sure Dell would not cover it
