Have this 1525 for longtime. Today sadly saying: accidentally spilled water on the keys direction. they are messed up now and I can not turn the direction down and the keyboard keeps hitting the up button continuously

Main thing: The button themseleves have no problem (No problem with keyboard) but it seems to me that the area under the keyboard is damaged by water

i can not even scrol down on the web browser ..
Help guys ... need help .. can get things back to normal :(

You might be lucky and only need a new keyboard. Try disconnecting the keyboard and using the laptop with an external keyboard... if it works fine, 1525 keyboards are like $10 a pop.

Just a question: I looked at the new Keyboard for Inspiron 1525 ... Is it a real key board or just button pad?
My main concern that this key boad might be just button pad that you put instead of the old one I have which in this case, nothing wrong with the buttons of my key board.

Please answer me if you know anything about that key board if it is a real keyboard and not just button pad

    Thank you and happy holiday

Hey, I looked at a video on Youtube on how to set up the keyboard on the laptop.
It seems to me that the keyboard is a real keyboard and not just a key pad (or just plastic buttons).

I thought laptop keyboard was nothing but key pad or just plastic buttons laid on the real keyboard under neath.

Now, thank you man .. Will try to get the new keyboard and see if there's any difference.

    Thanks
