I can hide them every time by going to properties and saying hide always, but every time i restart my computer or there is a change in the settings they reappear. Is there anyway to get them to hide permanently or just remove them from the taskbar completely?

Well I just hide the wirelss ones, but since I don't use the LAN or anything, I just disabled the modem and the icon doesn't appear anymore.
