So I was playing some TFC on my 1720, and out of no where it sounds as though someone turned on some jet engines. The fans in the laptop REALLY kicked in, they were hella loud, never heard them get that loud before, and I've played COD4, UT3 on this notebook, and TFC is no where as graphically intense as those games. As I'm typing this now, the fans cut back, but now it sounds like the HD is making more noise then usual, it's actually quite loud. What could cause this? First time this has happened.

Mine does that two, but a seemingly random times during gaming; It doesn't do it for particular games for me.

    heat... :p

And the noisier HDD could just be that its spinning faster than usual, which again generates more heat!
