It looks like a good score but the ram is lacking. 3gigs and it's lacking! I wonder if 4gigs would be better? I heard that Vista will not run it or something but who knows? Will it not run dual channel with 2x 2gig sticks? Could somebody with 4gigs post their experience score please?
    Thx

Thats strange... I have the 1530 and it has pretty much the same scores. I only have 2 gigs of ram and still 4.8 for ram. My graphics card score is a bit higher too. I was thinking of upping to 3 gigs aswell...

the score means nothing. the ingame preformace matters. as for 3gb itsmore than enough for vista .for 4gb u could need a 64bit os and it wont provide preformance increases.

I have feeling the vid scores are closer because yours was tested with a lower resolution screen with the GS.

1680x1050 which is my point. My gt and 1680 is relative (well little better) than you gs with 1440.

actually i was wondering, what is the thing that is calculated to get the memory WEI score? the speed of the ram? but nowadays all laptops are equiped with DDR2-667mhz. Even adding more memory doesn't increase the score. How about changing brands, maybe there will be some effects eh :p, i dont really know bout it

*btw my memory score is also 4.5, Qimonda DDR2-667 2gb

I just ran 3DMark06 and got 3859. It doesn't really tell you what that is comparable to.

I think that the "Memory operations" is more equilvalent to the speed/timings of the ram rather then the amount of ram that you have.

Most laptops have ddr2 running at 667 MHz. I would guess that they are all the same unless you are compairing a desktop replacment laptop that is using ddr2 800 MHz or desktop ram running at same speed.

    Agreed :D
