    Hello everyone!
A year now,im a proud owner of a dell inspiron 1545. This past week my integraded webcam decided to stop working. Not entirely, but when i open it, it shows my picture for about 5 sec and then blacks out.
I tried searching online for updates and i got a message saying i have the latest installed. Any ideas?
    Thanks. :)

Have you tried reinstalling Dell Webcam Central?

You also could have a defective webcam. Is the unit still under Dell warranty? I have seen too many Inspirons with bad webcam cables.

I tried to unistall it and install it again as you said, although it was difficult to find the drivers to webcam central.
This far it seems that the problem is somehow gone, but a new one replaced it. :)
Now it says when i open webcam central, that some software files are missing and i dont have effects and settings anymore. Im still searching on web to find a solution to that.
thanx for your help,it was the simplest thing to do, and i havent even thought it. :D

ps: unfortunately, i have it a little over a year, so i dont have any warranty anymore.
