    Webcam video very jerky?

    On my Vostro 1400 the webcam video is very jerky, even at only 640x480.

    Is this normal? I expected the framerate to be a lot smoother than this.

    The one girl who made that 1520 review used the integrated webcam and it didn't seem too jerky.

    I tried that to. The live view of ourselves looks jerky, but when you play back the video file it is smooth.

    I wonder if it is the same story with video chats, that the people on the other end are seeing a smooth video feed.
