Something weird...in my system config. under the start-up tab, near the bottom, there is a BLANK spot....it has a checked box beside it along with "location"...

    Any ideas?

I've seen that before.. probably it's a process of bloatware or something else . Just disable it.

You might want to run CCleaner just to see if it catches the empty line with checkbox as something... or run a spyware detection program.

I have Norton Internet Security 2007. I don't see how it could be Spyware or anything, and I've reformatted and performed a clean install of Windows earlier this month. Maybe I'll give CCleaner a try.

I have been meaning to re-download it since the reformat.

Yeah, CCleaner is the best! Run it regularly and it takes care of most un-used stuff.
