The battery and AC adaptor for my Inspiron 13 don't seems to be acting strangely...

When the computer is off, and not connected to any power source, sometimes the battery light flashes. This happens even if the AC adaptor isn't plugged into the computer.

When the computer is off and it is plugged in, the light doesn't flash.

The battery light is on when the computer is plugged in, charging, and powered up.

Also, I'll unplug the AC adaptor from the wall and the light on the adaptor usually turns off. But sometimes it only turns off after it has been disconnected from the laptop, too.

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with this.

Hmm I have never really seen mine flash the battery symbol when never connected to AC power. But the light is low on the palm rest so it is not always in my view.

When I get home tonight ill test to see about the ac adapter

Okay, thanks! It doesn't happen all the time; probably about 85 % of the time it does, though.
