I just got an E1505 and couldn't be happier, however, I've noticed an oddity with the latop upon startup. Just recently, windows won't load when I have the battery and AC attached at the same time, but if I remove one or the other it boots normally. I can also replace the AC or battery immediately once I see the XP loading screen with no problems at all. With both attached at startup it never gets to to XP loading screen, it just hangs on a black screen with an underscore blinking in the top left. It doesn't always do this, but it does more times than not. It didn't do this at first either, but there's nothing wrong with the machine thus far outside of this kink. Any ideas why this may be? Maybe I'm missing a setting I don't know about or something.

This definitely isnt normal behavior. Its possible the AC Adapter (or hopefully not the AC Adapter plug in) is bad and the systems not auto sensing when their are two power sources.

One other possibility is... are you booting your system straight? or are you coming back from a hibernate? Ive had laptops do wierd things when they come back from a hibernate and things are exactly like they were when it went to sleep. Just a thought.
