So let's start it from the beginning ... I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 1720 with the following configuration

    Jet Black Inspiron 1720
    Intel Core2Duo T7250,2.0 GHz,2MB cache 800MHz FSB
    3GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm
    256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 8600
    320G Sata 2 5400 RPM Western Digital WD-ML160

... actually I ordered Creative Audigy which DELL DID NOT DELIVER but they gave me a Western Digital HDD instead of a Samsung one ... and as I like Western Digital more ... there is no need to get grumpy about one Audigy Audio.

So anyways ... to the problem ... I uninstalled Windows VISTA 30 minutes after i got the laptop and installed the good old Windows XP SP2.

Everything works fine, Photoshop i flying ... but there is the weirdest thing ... while i work and listen to my music on winamp ... everything is cool ... however when i stand from the laptop (and go take a leak for example) my music starts ... lagging. It stops playing for a second at random intervals.

Does anyone have any clue what is wrong with my machine (except it was so poorly assembled that one of the speakers scrambles the music :) )

So any comments / advices will be welcome since i have tried Everything on my mind which is something like :
    - Install Sata Driver - (actually not very sure if it was the right driver :) )
    - Install Sata matrix - (something from the dell support site ... i saw SATA and ... i installed :) )
    - Add /3GB to windows startup
    - Every possible optimization - Swap Files, Cleanup everything, disabling most of the startup programs with msconfig, HDD defragmenation .... and so on ...

    so ... Thanks :)
