My batter was pretty normal till yesterday, and now I have this problem. As soon as I take out my AC adapter, when the charge is full, it instantly jumps from 100% to 64%, and it starts draining down from there. When I plug the AC adapter back in, as soon as it reaches charging to 64% it jumps to 100% and says charging is done. Anyone know what's up?

Most likely a cell or two in the battery has died. I would first suggest updating your BIOS (software in there communicates with the battery), and if the problem still exists contact Dell for a replacement.

Alright thanks I'll try that. Also, I don't know if this helps, but when it jumps to 64%, if I press the button on the battery all the green lights still appear to light up. Although it clearly takes the battery a lot less time to lose it's charge.
