    Alright
I have had my m1330 for a couple of weeks, and love it! No issues, no problems with Vista, everything is really excellent. Only one program wouldn't run on Vista, and I've found a replacement.

    Here's my minor issue...

Several days ago, my hard drive showed 103GB free available space.

Friday, it suddenly dropped to only 97GB of free space. Not the end of the world, but I hadn't installed any new programs, hadn't really done anything that should have taken up six GB of disk space.

Tonight, my hard drive how shows 121GB of free space!

I realize Vista will ustilize space with features like Restore, indexing and other things, but how did I suddenly gain 24GB of free disk space???

Again, I haven't removed much, the one program that I couldn't get to run with Vista (No 1 DVD Ripper). That should not free up much space at all.

    Anyone have any ideas???

(Oh, I did turn off Windows indexing... would that really create this much free space?)

    Thanks

Most of the space disappears because of automatic HD backups
