I bought a Dell Studio 1555 refurbished last summer. I contacted customer service once regarding how the USB ports on the left side of the laptop failed to function after one month. I couldn't send it in for repair because I needed the laptop for schoolwork. Now that I'm on break, I figure I would send it in now.
However, since then my laptop has fallen on the floor once and as such the hinge on the left is loose and the dvd drive does not accept disks. Can I still send it in for repair/replacement and have it covered under the warranty?

Did you pay for Accidental Coverage? Outside of your Complete Care warranty?

I just have "Rapid Response Depot" for 180 days left. I didn't buy any special warranty.

They'll reject it due to physical damage.
Well this be covered in the warranty?
