I'm having a hard time deciding whether to get white or red on my inspiron 1420Which color would you get?
And does anyone know is the T5550 is santa rosa?
I wanted white because it makes it look like a Macbook lol
-
-
Compromise. Get Pink.
-
What is your favorite color??
-
-
Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
White... and oh look, it's winning
-
I got a brown color 1520...it was between that and yellow, but don't listen to me, no one voted for either! i had to vote for brown!
-
Tough choice. But I'd go with the glossy white. It looks nice anywhere in any kind of light IMO.
-
For the M133O, I got black. If I were getting an M153O, I'd be tempted to get the Blue.
-
White looks good on the 1420.
-
I'd get either the black or the blue.
-
Brown is the way to go.
-
I have a green 1420 ... as it was an open box unit with a price I could not pass up. I originally planned to order a new LCD cover in blue or black, but you know, the green is growing on me and others who see it comment favourably.
-
Oh, yeah . . . I like the white model, but the red one doesn't look bad. -
Brown here.... looks great! Not as black-looking as some have said it is.
-
I love my midnight blue 1520, so I vote blue
-
-
badger red, of course!
-
Bump
-
Blue or Black go well both in formal and informal settings. Blue is better as most of them have black notebooks.

-
Personally I think the Red looks nice.
-
red, red, red,.............
all the maniacs pick red -
I find the red makes it look like a plastic toy... a firetruck to be exact

When I was deciding which color to get my Inspiron 1420 in, I didn't want a mainstream color like red or black, and DEFINITELY not wanting to look like i'm holding some Macbook rip-off (white). Since I have all my male genitalia intact, that eliminated pink. Dell does not offer an orange option, and blue just isn't my thing, so it came down to brown, yellow, or green.
So I went to the mall to look at the finishes at the kiosk first hand, and since the samples they had there were pretty well handled, I (reluctantly) eliminated brown, because I thought it looked the most worn out. Admittedly, the yellow finished looked like it would stand up to the test of time, having looked the "newest." I was assured by the rep at the stand that the samples were all the same age. So I mulled over green and yellow, all the while keeping brown in the back of my mind.
In the end, I chose green, since it's my favorite color anyways.
I advise everyone do the same. -
I agree Mykie. Looks like we are definitely in the minority here. I love my green laptop. And everyone comments on it.
-
Yeah. I love my green 1420. People always do a double take when they see the lid.
-
Aren't you worried that maybe one day, that spring green might get old like the swampy green color from the 70's?
yummy -
But I, for one, have always loved the split-pea green of old 70's appliances and hoped it would come back. -
RED
It's Valentine's Day!!! -
I'd probably choose either Black, White, Brown or Green. It's hard to make a final pick.
-
One thing that really helps is looking at photos of the diffrent colors "in action". Gives you a better idea of how it looks.
If I had to choose one, I'd probably pick blue, black or white. Of those I'd look for the one with the least plastic look. -
It's kind of funny how out of 99 people, only 1 person chose yellow haha
-
How glossy is the glossy white?
-
Glossy -
That looks pretty sweet.
-
Product Red !!!
-
-
-
-
Blue, definitely!
I know someone who has a Red one and another who has a Yellow one. They both look good, but Blue would look good IMO. -
I'll post pics of my white inspiron when it gets here
