Make sure you get the x1400 for sure. If you really want to game though, you may want to look in notebooks with better GPUs.

With that said, I have an Inspiron 6000, which is just like the E1505 with slightly dated hardware. I have an x300 card, and it is OK at gaming. I have played HL2, CoD, Guild Wars, CoH, Far Cry, etc on it at medium settings. Game like FEAR are hard pressed to run decent though. Oh, and this is with the card overclocked too.

I ran Call of Duty 2 in DX7 mode with everything maxed out, it looks awesome and runs smooth as butter. Other than that I also play Age of Empires 3 and Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault. I haven't played that many games on this laptop since I just got it a couple weeks ago.

I play NetHack mainly. Great game, and it even runs brilliantly with the GMA950!

i have my 6400 basically the same, and im so happy with this laptop it runs smoothly ofcourse i have ati radeon x14oo keep in mind that the hardware might not be the problem for gaming, vista could be the problem, if you wanna play games i suggest you to downgrade to xp due to the compatibility, thats what i hate when new OS are comming out, you should buy it i really love my computer
