    Hey everyone.

I was asked earlier what brand the 7200 RPM HD in my 1520 was.
However, for the life of me I don't know, although I plan on checking when I get home.

For some reason I want to say that it is either Seagate or Hitachi, but I'm not sure at all.

Go ahead and post what yours is if you know.
I'd also be interested in knowing if the 5400 RPM HD's have the same brands.

I don't think it's set in stone....it's more of a "lowest bidder" type scenario from what I've read.

Mine is a Hitachi, don't know if that's good these days. Just glad it's not a Maxtor.

Yea. Hitachi's still a high quality brand. I was kind of hoping to hear that someone had that.
