I can't seem to distinguish which screen i have on my dell xps m1330 can someone tell me how to identify the which screen it is. I got it as a refurb from dell outlet.. the screen says slim and light on the invoice but the thickness looks the same as my old xps m1210 someone please help me out. How do I get the make and model of the lcd on my xps m1330 and how can i tell if i got the thinn and light or the standard.

I think .3 means the 0.3 megapixel webcam that comes with the slim/ligh LED screen. The regular screen comes with a 2.0 megapixel webcam.

Go to Device Manager, find Monitors and double-click on Generic PnP Monitor. In the pop-up window go to the 'Details' tab, select 'Hardware Ids' under Property and it will display the display model. Hope this helps!

This happened to me. I bought a refurb that said .30mp camera and nothing about the screen. I assumed it would have the LED display since you can't get the .30 camera with the normal screen. When it arrived it was the standard display with a 2.0mp camera.

I notified my rep and she sent me a detailed list of options with the "standard LCD" option highlighted and said sorry but this is what it is. I sent back the e-mail with the line below it highlighted that stated the .30 mp camera.

    She came back with:

I escalated through the customer advocate e-mail and they offered me $75 to keep it or a refund and the ability to purchase a new machine. I'm still trying to decide.

Yes, this is the LED slim screen, because I also ordered it and it also has LCD2306.
