I had a Sony S460 before, it has a Sharp 13.3'' panel with almost unlimited view angle horizontally and *vertically* (the color simply retains no matter what). But my Lenovo laptop has a cheap TN panel in it (color wash out when I move my head up).
Since M1330 is a direct rival for Sony SZ, does it use a TN panel or not? It is rather easy to tell by using a freeware called ASTRA32.
I use my laptop in very lazy ways(in bed, on sofa...) so a TN panel just annoys~
Thanks guys.

The M1330 has pretty much an unlimited viewing angle. Its the glossy (true life) display.
Dell TrueLife™ LCD screens, which are supplied by Dell, Inc. for laptop computers, are a recently-introduced advancement in notebook LCD screen technology. This technology has won much praise with its high-gloss, sharp contrast finish, which is well-suited for watching videos, gaming, and other video imagery uses. We are confident that once you have seen this technology with your own eyes, you will not believe the difference it makes. -
But there are lots of glossy TN panels out there too, like the XPS m1210?

According the the M1330 Owners Guide on the US Dell website the WLED display has about twice the vertical viewing angle of the CCFL display.
Based on examination of the first two machines delivered to forum members it appears the WLED display is a Chi Mei display and the other is an AU Optronics.
One of the forum members suggested the Chi Mei display is this one:

Link leads to a TN panel... that's a little bit disappointing. Dell should use the best parts on M1330, it's specs and features are so great.
What LCD panel does M1330 use exactly?
