    I placed my order for an Inspiron 1520 a couple of days ago and it's in the build phase at the moment. What phase is yours in? Call 1-800-433-9014 and check and post here so we all get an idea of how quickly our orders are being taken care of.

    Mine is in pre-production.

    I ordered a m1330 on July 1st with an estimated shipping date on August 17th.

    I placed my order on the 27th with an estimated shipping date of July 19th but I cancelled and reordered yesterday and got the same estimated ship date, (Dell had trouble processing my order, they had put my account on hold because they had to verify my information since the first one was cancelled and they needed to make sure that it was done by the person whose name is on the account) I was told that they would expidite my order so that I would get it by my shipping date. Ofcourse I didn't believe them but imagine my surprise when I called in twice to confirm that everything went through okay,the first time the automated system said that my laptop was in production a few hours later i called again and it was in the building stage. So now I'm just anxiously waiting for its arrival.

    I ordered a D830 on July 1st with an estimated ship date of July 18th.

    Current status is "In Production".

    Order placed June 26th, est shipping date July 16th.
    Phone line says in boxing, even though shipping date still listed the same on the net.
    Dell rep over chat said my order will ship between 2-3 business days.
    So, shipping date is now between 10th and 11th with eta via standard, Friday the 13th (guess that's unlucky and unlikely)- Wednesday the 16th.

    Commander Wolf, what are the specs on your system?

    I'm also waiting for my D830 to ship. (2.2 GHz CPU, 120 GB 7200 RPM HD, WUXGA, Nvidia 140, 2GB RAM)

    Mine was ordered the 29th and its in "boxing". Im assuming it will ship tomorow and then i get it tuesday.

    Shipped on 7/8! According to the automated system, it has "been delivered to the carrier"--they aren't giving me an estimated ship date anymore at this time. I'm not sure if that means it will get here tomorrow or Tuesday.

    My XPS is still in pre-production... has been for almost a week... I don't expect it to go into production for a long time to tell you the truth. My estimated ship date is August 19th...
