    I'm expecting my dell notebook this week and I was just getting ready to buy cables for it and such. Just wondering from all you seasoned Dell notebook purchasers...besides the laptop and power cord, what else comes in the box when you recieve your shipment? I know its obvious that you get manuals and CD/DVD information/recovery disks too, but is there anything else?

    Actually getting the recover disk is kind of a random occurence now if you don't receive your disks you have to call dell to have them shipped to you. Dell is doing a cut back on media sent out with systems. The only disks I received was for power dvd and sonic record now I had to call to get my winxp pro disk and all the other things I payed extra for.

    I got the Windows and software disks, power cable/brick, and the remote control that I added on.

    Was shocked to see the remote with an external USB IR port. It is laughable to see this in this day and age. I wonder why they don't make Bluetooth remote controls.
