    What all important things which I need to check after receiving my new E1505.

    To day I am expecting to receive my new Dell E 15015.
    So can u guys pls give me some kind of checklist that I need to check in my laptop that every thing is fine and as per my order?
    Or what all important things which I need to check ?

    check for any physical damage. Also make sure that all of your hardware matches what you order. You might want to enter your service tag number into your account on dell just to make sure that the specs match what you got. Lastly, check for any software that you paid for and make sure that you have the discs to match that software.

    if you plan on formatting, be sure to study up on Media Direct before you do it!

    there is a 74mb FAT partition you will want to keep intact so the media direct button is functional.

    yeah, unfortunately all of that information is in a format guide. I'm working on trying to get it back up. If you know the format process, all you need to do is save a copy of your C:\drivers folder to a usb drive or cd and you can delete any partition, but make sure to leave partition 1
