By the end of the year?

I would be happy if they did put them in e1505, the x1400 is too slow for me :(

No one knows. It does seem kind of strange but then again dell may not want to put a higher-end card in the e1505. It might pull too much market share from their more expensive laptops. That is all just supposition though. If you needed the x1600 you should have ordered a w3j or another notebook with it, not an inspirion; because no matter how much you hope or pray will assure you a faster graphics card, and even if dell does use the x1600 no promises that it will be compatible with the e1505. I do empathize with you however, I have an e1505 with x1400 and while it is a good mid-range card it is no x1600. BUt i knew that when i bought it.

i actually feel that anything more then X1400 is max gaming and then it will be called an XPS and charge u at least a 1000 more!!

So from having an X1400 till an X1600 and u are willing to pay an extra 1000?

Well, over in the news section, there is a rumor that an XPS 14" on the way. I would suspect it will have an x1600/Go7600 seeing as how the M1210 has a Go7400. Just my assumption anyway. It will also most likely have a Core 2 Duo.

If Dell really release E1505 with X1600 or go7600
I do hope that it'll be an upgradable part from the previous E1505 with X1400 :)

Dell usually does offer you the chance to upgrade to a chip that is supplied with your system, you would just have to buy it. Several people bought a 7900GS from Dell for the E1705s when they came out. All the hassle you hear about it the people who are trying to get it for free. I would suspect they would do the same for the E1505.
