What are the differences between the Inspiron and XPS lines? Is the XPS line marginally or significantly better than the Inspiron line.

How about the exterior and interior parts?

Any insight will be appreciated; thank you

Which models are you comparing? The new inspirons dont look too bad, but they are more expensive to compensate, so ultimately you get what you pay for.

XPS is slightly thinner and quite a bit lighter, glass trackpad & keyboard probably better, used full powered processors (not ULV), higher resolution etc. Personally that doesn't justify the pricepoint, thats why I went for the i7 7537.
