What can you do with a base E1705?

Is it worth it to get a base model E1705 with 1.66GHz duo core processor, and basically nothing else, or go for a better equipped E1505? I mean an E1705 with only 512 ram, integrated graphics, CDRW, etc.

I like the idea of a 17" screen, but will I regret not selecting more options? What kind of games could I play with the integrated graphics? Will I even notice the performance increase from going to a dual core if I go with the base model?

Will the UltraSharp Wide Screen still work ok with integrated graphics? Or does it use more power to run the higher resolution? Can the res be turned down so its equivalent to a normal truelife wide screen?
