I saw it when configuring E1405
WXGA+ UltraSharp™ TFT Display with TrueLife™
What do these mean ?
Does anybody know the difference?
-
Ultrasharp=Matte?
Truelife=Glossy? -
No because it's UltraSharp AND TrueLife at the same time...
-
Ultrasharp means wider viewing angles. Read Dell's explanation here.
TrueLife is glossy. -

As discussed in alot of other threads, the TrueLife option is a personal preference. Personally, I game so I went for the Matte finish screen on my I9300...the video card hands 1440x900 alot better than 1900x1220. So I get more FPS.
For just using it as a web-browsing or work computer I would go with glossy.
That is just my opinion.

does truelife give better viewing angles ?
-
No. Truelife (at least in theory) is brighter than regular screens.
-
correct me if i am wrong.
For DELL: Ultrasharp is the only technology to get better viewing angles ?
and can we get Matte finish wide angle screens for 15.4 e1505's ??
What does UltraSharp? mean ?
