Looking on Dell outlet and noticed that color scheme. I was wondering how it looks since I was planning on a Jet Black, but the Graphite Grey sounds nice too :)

The graphite grey is the same finish used for the palmrest, with the topographical pattern in white. It's glossy, unlike Jet Black or any of the colors.

The Graphite Gray was offered with four trim colors- Black, Blue, Pink and Red. Here's a pic of all four followed by just a shot of the one Graphite with Black trim. (The trim color just refers to the sides of the lid/display)-

If I'm not mistaken, ALL Studio 1535 models have the odd, swirled design on the palm rest/touchpad area. The 1537 models do not.

It is really glossy and it will attract fingerprints. You can't see them in most lighting conditions, though. Since mine is usually indoors, you can't tell that they're even there. The swirly design didn't come on the palm rest for me.

besides it being a finger print magnet, i saw it in person and thought it looked pretty nice with the colored trim.

My 1535 has no swirly design, but maybe that because it has the Mike Ming design, i dunno
