I ordered my m1330 and it's been "In Production" for the last 6 weeks. My Est Ship date is 8/24, should I expect that Order Status to change to something like "Building" or "Boxing" in the next few days? Or is this a bad sign that my order is going to be delayed? Does it just say "In Production" until it ships?

Any way I can get more detailed status information?

    TIA!

If it doesn't go into testing a few days before your ESD, you'll probably be delayed. However, you can only find out by calling the automated service. In production covers build, testing, and boxing, so you won't know from the website.

Dell should just say "Building", "Testing", etc, instead of "In Production".

It'll say "In Production" on the website up until sometimes 24 hours AFTER it ships, your best bet ALWAYS is to call the automated order status number (NOT call and talking to a person) for the best information :)

build, testing, kitting, boxing, etc are all sub-stages of "in-production". the website order page won't show these sub categories. only calling the automated order status number will yield the sub-stages.
