    What does the T5250 get you?

    If you choose the 1.5Ghz T5250 677Mhz bus option, is anything other than the CPU different? Does it come with different chipset components or can you just plug in an 800Mhz FSB chip such as the 2.2Ghz T7500?

    The T5250 is a budget Santa Rosa Processor. Its the same socket(both are Socket P[Santa Rosa]) as the T7500 so if you wanted to upgrade it yourself, you can just it will void the warranty and might be difficult.

    They did the same thing with older (Napa platform) Intel Core Duo T2250
