15.4 inch Wide Screen WXGA+ TrueLife LED LCD with Camera for XPS M1530
15.4 inch Black Wide Screen WX+ LED TrueLife LCD with 2.0 MP Camera for XPS M1530

These specs are on my configuration list. I'm getting it next week, but my question is why there are two descriptions for the LED screen. Anyone have the answer?

LED backlighting vs CFL backlighting. LED lighting will be brigher, thinner, operate cooler, and use less energy (probably last longer too) than a standard cfl backlit lcd.

Yes I know that, but why is it listed twice on my order?

Well if you read his post carefully, there are two LED descriptions, and that was his question.

Going a bit too quick there Nizzy!

I'm thinking there are two because one is for the screen itself, and one designates the color you'll be receiving. Not sure though.

If you mean the color of the xps, (i.e. Tuxedo Black) then that's not it. That description was listed independently from this one. I don't understand the black wide screen WX+. It IS 1440 x 900 right?

    WX+ and WXGA+ are the same thing, 1440 x 900.

Nothing there is contradictory, I wouldn't sweat the repitition.

One is the top chasis and one is the screen. The chasis one has the camera listed.

Yep. I think that rafiki6 is correct. I too had the same confusion with my 1330 order and it turned to be what I wanted..! ;)
