I have .avi files and Media direct wont play them, so i converted them all to .wmv and in media direct they will start to play but then freeze. So instead on converting and transfering back forth between my desktop to my laptop i thought i would just ask here. What is the optimal movie file type that media direct, using the media direct button and starting it outside of windows, should my files be in? All these files in what ever format play perfectly on the laptop using VLC player.
