The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    What happened to the forum search??

    I used to use it - a lot. With such a large community, most questions have been asked - many times. (and answered!)

    Ayone know what the story is? Did "they" move it and I'm simply blind? If they changed the ability to search wouldn't it make sense to make a sticky or something on the subject? Isn't search sorta used a lot? I'm stumped. (and tired)

    The forum is currently experiencing techincal difficulties. Due to the large amount of traffic NBR is getting, it is crashing due to the search function. The search feature is only enabled for senior members till they find a new solution

    If Google cannot find the answer (use site:forum.notebookreview.com your search stuff here), then ask away no matter what. The senior members have been incredibly helpful with this issue and will point you in the right direction if it has been discussed before.

    I'm actually looking for specific existing threads but not having any luck finding them. I can use Google but the results are overwhelming without being able to restrict to a specific forum. *sigh*
