Hi, I won't be home on the estimated delivery date for my Dell laptop. It's being delivered by DHL Express ground, and if it does come on the estimated delivery date (Monday, 6/18) then what happens? Does the delivery guy come around the next day, or drop it off somewhere for pickup, etc.?

Also, does anyone know if DHL Express ships on Sundays?

Yeah, If i remember correctly they leave this little door hanger on you door handle saying that they tried but you were not home. It will either say, "We will try again tomorrow" or "You must stop buy (this) location to pick up your package".

    You guys are ALL incorrect.

They simply leave it on your doorstep while arranging a partner to come by and steal it.

Yea, thats basically what happen to my friend when he wasn't home in time to pick his notebook up. They just leave a note.If anything, you can always call them up and tell them to hold the package for you to go pick it up.

but keep in mind you cannot request to pick it up until after the first attempt. If you want to request to have them hold it at the station before even making an attempt, then you have to call Dell to get special permission.
