    What if..... Monitor upgrade

    If I change the monitor of my dell inspiron b120 a bigger screen, like the b130 which is a little bigger..... Do I need to do something else or just unplug, swap, plug in and ready to work?

    This question was just asked recently... but I can't find the thread.

    Short answer is that you can do it, you just have to replace quite a few parts or buy a complete 1300/B130 display assembly.

    Yes that is what I'm planning to do in the future. Buy the whole B130 display assembly not just the screen, sorry if I didn't made my self clear. In another words, "the whole lid" ....

    Si señor Wolf, that would be simple to do. But my computer will recognize the new monitor with no problems? I just turn it on lake I normally do or do I have to mess a little bit with settings?

    Nope, you shouldn't have to mess around with anything. Should be completely plug and play.
