Dell is listing the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 545v on the cheaper Studio 15 laptops.

Does anyone know for certain what this card is? A Google search is inconclusive as most of the answers are from people who ordered a system with the 4570, saw the status change to 545v and received a system with the 4570.

So can anyone confirm that the 545v is a rebrand of the 4570, or is it based on the newer 40nm DX11 parts?

Its based on the newer 40nm dX11 parts. It is also known as "Cedar Pro" and is the lowest model of the HD 5000 series. Here is a comprehensive review.

I just recieved my Studio 1558 with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 545v 512MB and can confirm that this is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 as reported by CPU-Z.

    I wasn't able to upload a pic.

My order has said ATI Mobility Radeon HD 545v 512MB from the start, so wasn't changed from 4570 to 545v and back again.

    Hope this helps.
