Do you mean for the built-in LCD or for an externally connected monitor?

I think any LCD is really a 60Hz refresh, but can accept (w/no visual advantage) higher refresh rates.

You can't select any refresh rate other than 60hz in the 1705. That's because (as previously stated) there is no such thing as LCD refresh rate. LCDs have response time. The lower the response, the better. For example, my LCD TV has a 12ms response time. I am unsure of the 1705's response time.

i know how work lcd but still, if i'm playing cs 1.6 and have 60hz refresh rate, then i can play only with 60 fps, and if i play with 75 refresh rate i have max 75 fps,i can change that in video settings

you don't have a refresh rate on your LCD. i don't know how else to explain it other than what kegobeer already posted. it's like asking how many MPG your kitchen sink gets.

Regardless of what a video card setting says, the LCD does not have a refresh rate! Frames per second has nothing to do with a refresh rate or a response time. You can overclock or tweak a video card to get more frames per second on a video game, but you cannot alter an LCD's response time.

I hope you finally understand what I'm explaining, because there's nothing else I can say, and I won't try to explain it anymore.

i early now how works lcd, but u dont understand mine problem, i cant have more than 60/75 fps in games, even if mine computer could generate more. Even if turn off vertically synchronization. Thats why asking about max "refresh rate" , because that max "refresh rate" is limitation of fps in games.

here u have link to random iiyama lcd panel :

    http://www.iiyama.us/default.asp?SID=&LNG=US&NAV=236&PCAT=2&PROD=2777&CE=F&PARAMS=DATASHEET
    specification:
    ...
    Vertical sync 56 - 85 Hz
