    What is that slot under the battery of the Studio 15? is that a SIM card slot?

    If you put a mobile broadband card in your laptop in the WPAN slot then if it needs a sim card it will go in that slot under the battery.

    What they said - if you don't have mobile broadband, it's useless. I tried putting my SIM card in there - nothing happened. I was hoping perhaps I'd be able to modify the files on there nice and quickly - unfortunately not.
