    What is that strange USB on the left side of Studio 15

    Its the top left USB port, it looks different than regular USB. What special secret does it have?

    On the 1536 (AMD), it's a combined USB and eSATA of some sort. On the 1535 (Intel), nothing special, it just looks different.

    Perhaps you are referring to the HDMI port, meant for outputing HD content?

    nope, its a combo e-sata /usb connector. so u can use it with both esata and usb

    true, but only on the AMD models (1536). The 1535 does not have eSATA.

    The 1535 has the eSATA port, but it isn't functional as eSATA, only as USB.

    It is either a eSATA connector (1536 / 1537) — Connect eSATA compatible storage devices, such as external hard disk drives or optical drives. Studio 1535 systems have an additional USB connector instead of an eSATA connector or if you are referring to the HDMI™ connector HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) connector carries an uncompressed all digital signal to produce hi-definition video and audio.
