    Hi all,

I'm ordering a replacement m1330 (for the whine (not ftw)...getting one with the new motherboard)...should I ask for a particular brand of screen? I have the thin LCD screen...is manufacturer better than another?

    Thanks,

    GRPCV

from what iv heard most people prefer the Toshiba screens over the CMO screens. But a few folk actually prefer the CMO screens!

Its all down to personal preference...and a bit of luck as to whether or not you get a good screen!

Toshiba is better in my exp., but even Toshibas aren't made equal.

I had 2 Toshiba to compare when I got replacement, but one was alot brighter than the other.

Same here. I like the Toshiba, but my replacement screen is a good notch or two brighter than my old one and is, in fact, almost too bright on the highest setting.
