Is it a real laptop or a desktop replacement?

The 600m is about 1.3 inches thick, and weighs around 5 lbs...defintely not a desktop replacement size.

hey, here's a link to a really cool java applet that allows you to roate and measure every possible dimension of the 600m.

And yes nesbo is right on the thickness and weight, it's definitely designed as a mobile laptop with a 14" screen.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'real laptop' but mine came with a 14" screen and it is way smaller than the HP laptop (desktop replacement) that I had. Really love the compact size of the 600m. Hope this helps.
