I have already emailed dell complaining about the battery. It doesn't really bother me that much also, but I believe I should get my moneys worth. We'll see how it turns out, if I get credit or a new battery.

And frankly, I'm quite worried this battery problem might lead to far worse issues later on.

Most of the stuff doesnt annoy me but I just know its there but I don't really care. Theres some slight bleeding in the screen and the battery is a little loose and the audio jack makes that stupid noise but its fine when you play music or whatever. All I know is it isnt worth the hassle to go complain or get a replacement. Also you forgot to add graininess to the problems.

If the feel of it is good enough, I don't why the font should be a problem. but to each his own.

To be honest with you I never really notice them, since I have all the keys mostly memorized in my head. I type by touch and not by look.

I think they should have embedded one of these keyboards:

    http://store.artlebedev.com/catalog/computer_add-ons/optimus/

Then they could dynamically change the font to whatever the user wanted.

    But this is off-thread, sorry.

LOL not bad! I myself don't like extra keys on my keyboards.

You can buy letter stickers and paste them too if you'd like.

You forgot one: the crappy loose latch design. That's the only "problem" I have with my 1500. So far, I really like it. $888 for 2gb ram, a C2D, 120 mb hd, bluetooth and an 8600M GT? I can't gripe!

Extremely happy I got the Inspiron 1520 instead of the Vostro 1500. :)
